- There are requests from elementary, middle, and high school classrooms looking for virtual visits from Aerospace Employees. Please email STEM@aero.org which grade level you’re interested in speaking with and we can get you connected!
- !! Panelists Needed for “Innovations in Space Industry” at Long Beach Comic Con !! | EVENT
- September 2 – 3 | In-Person, Long Beach CA
- Our partners at the Columbia Memorial Space Center are hosting an “Innovations in the Space Industry” at the Space Expo as part of the Long Beach Comic Con (September 2-3) and they are looking for a few innovationists to join in on this fun Space Expo at Long Beach Comic Con. The Columbia Memorial Space Center formed a partnership with LBCC a few years ago to produce Space and STEM themed programming at the convention, in an area called Space Expo. This materializes into two tracts of programs, panels and exhibit space. As with most comic conventions, the event features dozens of panel discussions and presentations, mostly centered around pop culture and comics topics. Are you interested in being a part of a STEM themed panels as well, some focusing on hard science, others focusing on sci-fi and space in pop culture? - This year will be the 10th celebration of the Mars Rover and Professional Society Expo. We are looking for volunteers to sign up for a shift and help inspire the next generation of space scientists and engineers. Please join us for a fun community event! Sign up here.

- TryEngineering Together is a unique eMentorship platform providing a space to inspire and educate the next generation of engineers, scientists, and technical professionals. - Science Olympiad | ONGOING

- Join Aerospace in supporting first time Science Olympiad competitors! There are many ways to get involved this year from team meetings, topic video recordings, and competition testing, grading, and mentoring! If you’re interested, please email STEM@aero.org.
- Mentorship with LATM and STEM Advantage | ONGOING
- 2023-24 School Year | Virtual, all locations and Los Angeles, CA
- Social-emotional mentorship: LATM offers weekly mentorship, in-person and virtual, to at-risk youth across Los Angeles. As a volunteer, you will be matched with a dynamic team of co-mentors and lead 12-15 middle school students through an interactive curriculum designed to support their social-emotional development.
- STEM mentorship: Talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not. The STEM Advantage program levels the playing field by providing talented students enrolled in the California State University (CSU), access to scholarships, mentors, and internships.
